Peaufine and Organism are NOT medical services. The creator and operator of this platform is not a dermatologist, medical professional, healthcare provider, or licensed practitioner of any kind. This platform is a personal wellness and self-tracking tool designed to help you observe patterns in your skin health journey. Nothing on this platform should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional or board-certified dermatologist for any skin concerns, conditions, or before making any changes to your skincare routine.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Peaufine ("the Platform"), including the Organism dashboard, Peaufine Connect, and all related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Sections 1 through 11 describe Organism, our personal wellness product. Section 12 covers Peaufine Connect, our outreach product for brands, which also has its own full terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Peaufine provides a personal wellness tracking platform that allows users to:

  • Log daily observations about their skin condition
  • Track lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, diet, and environment
  • Visualize patterns and correlations in their personal data
  • Interact with an AI companion (Theresa) for reflective conversation
  • Participate in Coalescence sessions for deeper self-reflection
  • Access insights generated from their own tracked data

3. Not Medical Advice

This is critically important:

  • Peaufine is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • The platform does NOT provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations
  • AI-generated insights are based solely on patterns in YOUR self-reported data and should not be considered medical advice
  • Human guides in Coalescence sessions are NOT medical professionals
  • Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you observed on this platform
  • If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately

4. User Responsibilities

By using Peaufine, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the platform only for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the platform
  • Not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Understand that this is a self-reflection tool, not a medical service

5. Payments

Organism is offered in tiers, each a one time payment that stays on your account:

  • Organism (Free): Basic tracking with a limited memory window
  • Organism I ($79): Full insights and a longer memory window
  • Organism II ($199): Deeper pattern detection and a wider memory window
  • Organism Infinity ($599): The full engine and the longest memory window
  • Coalescence Sessions: One time purchases for standalone focus periods

These are one time payments, not subscriptions. Nothing renews and nothing bills you again, so there is no plan to cancel later. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy. A Coalescence can be refunded before you press Begin; once you begin the session, it has started and is no longer refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Peaufine, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Peaufine and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your personal data and tracking entries.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peaufine and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any health outcomes, skin conditions, or medical issues that may arise during or after your use of this platform.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peaufine, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.

12. Peaufine Connect

Connect is a separate product for brands. It helps you find relevant people, draft and send letters on your behalf, manage vouches and introductions, and keep records of consent. Using Connect means agreeing to the points below, set out in full in the Connect Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Business use, 18+. Connect is for business use by people at least 18 years old. You must not use it to contact minors.
  • You are the controller of your contacts. You decide who to contact and why, and you must have a lawful basis to do so. You comply with the laws that apply to you and to the people you reach, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CASL. Connect provides the mechanism and the proof; legal responsibility in your jurisdiction is yours.
  • You honor every opt-out, immediately and permanently. Once someone opts out, you will not contact them again.
  • AI-assisted letters, reviewed by you. Drafts can be imperfect. You review and approve each one, and you are the author and sender of everything that goes out.
  • Honest use only. Fabricating consent, reviews, mentions, or identities, or using Connect to manipulate or spam, is prohibited and can cost you access.
  • Billing. Paid Connect tiers are billed through Stripe on the cycle shown at purchase. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are not generally refundable except where required by law.
  • Governing law. Connect is operated from France, and the Connect Terms are governed by French law.
