Connect exists to build real relationships, not to broadcast at people. This policy is the line. Cross it and you can lose access. It is short because the spirit is simple: correspond honestly, and respect the person on the other side.
The spirit
Connect is letters, not spam, and sincerity, not manipulation. Everything below follows from that. You take responsibility for the integrity of everything you send.
You must not
- Send bulk unsolicited messages, or contact anyone you do not have a lawful basis to reach.
- Ignore an opt-out. Once someone opts out, they are off-limits forever.
- Fabricate anything: not consent, not reviews, not mentions, not endorsements, not identities. Connect records only what actually happened.
- Use the Draw to flatter or manipulate rather than to witness. A Draw that is not sincere is a violation.
- Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent who you are or how you found someone.
- Harvest private or non-public data, scrape behind logins, or use sources that require someone else's authentication.
- Harass, threaten, deceive, or send unlawful, hateful, or harmful content.
- Contact minors, or use Connect for anything directed at children.
- Resell access to Connect, or use it to build a competing data-broker product.
You must
- Honor every unsubscribe immediately and permanently.
- Be transparent about who you are and how you found the person, on every message.
- Keep your letters relevant, proportionate, and respectful.
- Comply with the laws that apply to you and to the people you contact.
How we enforce it
Connect quietly watches for misuse, such as attempts to contact suppressed people, repeated low-quality or insincere letters, and bulk behavior that the mechanics are designed to prevent. When something is off, our operators are alerted. We may warn, suspend, or remove an account that violates this policy, at our discretion, to protect the people on the other side and the integrity of the whole system.

If you believe Connect is being misused, or you received a letter you should not have, tell us at support@peaufinebymc.com and we will look into it.
